Called Me Higher

I could just sit
I could just sit and wait for all Your goodness
Hope to feel Your presence
And I could just stay
I could just stay right where I am and hope to feel You
Hope to feel something again

And I could hold on
I could hold on to who I am and never let You
Change me from the inside
And I could be safe
I could be safe here in Your arms and never leave home
Never let these walls down

But You have called me higher
You have called me deeper
And I'll go where You will lead me Lord
You have called me higher
You have called me deeper
And I'll go where You lead me Lord
Where You lead me
Where You lead me Lord

And I could hold on
I could hold on to who I am and never let You
Change me from the inside
And I could be safe
I could be safe here in Your arms and never leave home
Never let these walls down

But You have called me higher
You have called me deeper
And I'll go where You will lead me Lord
You have called me higher
You have called me deeper
And I'll go where You lead me Lord
Where You lead me

And I will be Yours, oh
I will be Yours for all my life

And I will be Yours, oh
I will be Yours for all my life

And I will be Yours, oh
I will be Yours for all my life
So let Your mercy

And I will be Yours, oh
I will be Yours for all my life
So let Your mercy light the path before me

Cause You have called me higher
You have called me deeper
And I'll go where You will lead me Lord
[x4]

Where You lead me
Where You lead me Lord

Happy World Teachers' Day

Everyday, you greet your students with a smile upon your face.
Though paperwork the night before seemed like a grueling race.

Money's not your motivation, it's the love for what you do.
You hear the special calling to which you always will stay true.

Your students are your dedication, devotion is to them.
To you each child unique's and special, a beautiful little gem.

Some days are just demanding and frustration takes its course.
Then you see those little faces, their inspiration is your force.

Each day you're in your classroom reminds you why you're there.
Making differences in children's lives with whom your heart to share.

There's a special pride in teachers, and a love for what you do.
And appreciation always shared between those little lives and you!

Am I Authentic

My answer is that, "God has the final say."
Last August 19-21, 2018, God has given me a privilege to join a Young Professional Camp hosted by Living Word IT with a theme, AUTHENTIC.
I remember my very first time to join a Youth Camp hosted by Fundamental Baptist Churches last 2007 and God used that opportunity for me to encounter Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I have been joining Sunday School for 7 years already at that time and knew about Jesus Christ, but right there at the camp, God slapped me with this reality, that knowing ABOUT Christ is different from knowing Christ HIMSELF.
What matters most is our personal relationship with God and it's not about what we know about God and what we do for Him, though knowing about Him and doing things for Him come after we got to know Him (our personal relationship with Jesus Christ).
As I joined for the very first time a Young Professional Camp, God moved me to follow Christ, AUTHENTICALLY.
God reminded me during the camp that,
"A true disciple of Christ will FOLLOW Him."
He convicted me with this truth that,
"Jesus is not only worth LIVING  for, but He is also worth DYING for."
He helped me come up with this equation from the message I have heard from the speaker that,
JESUS ➕ NOTHING = EVERYTHING
EVERYTHING ➖ JESUS = NOTHING.

God again struck me (with a lightning bolt and good thing it's not literal) with a gentle reminder that,
"LOVE completes the picture of LIFE in the FELLOWSHIP with GOD."

The last bbut not the least, God confronted me with this emphatic statement,
"To SAVE our LIVES, we must be willing to LOSE it for CHRIST'S SAKE."

Above all, my great takeaway from the camp was not really the rest, refreshment, nor the enjoyment in a physical sense, but it was knowing Christ deeper, understanding Him in a broader sense, and experiencing Him in a more delighted manner as I realized that LOVING CHRIST is to be DELIGHTED in Him, to be SATISFIED in His presence, to REST in His UNCHANGING CHARACTER, and to SEEK HIM all the days of my life. 💟🙏🙌
