The Eighth Month - RISE AGAIN

August—

the eighth month,

where endings whisper

and new beginnings roar.

"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?"

—Isaiah 43:19

Eight...

not just a number.

It’s the turning page.

It’s the breath before the leap.

And for all the times we fell—

we rise.

Again.

And again.

"Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again."

—Proverbs 24:16

Rise, not just to stand,

but to overcome.

Trials come—yes—

but they mold us.

Break us down or build us up,

Better or bitter—

it all hinges

on the lens we choose to look through.

"Consider it pure joy... whenever you face trials... because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."

—James 1:2–3

Perspective.

It’s everything.

Do we dwell in the shadows?

Or chase the glimmer in the dark?

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

—Psalm 119:105

Because the truth is—

this world is chaos and clarity,

confusion and calling.

But with the right vision,

with Truth,

we find not just freedom...

but peace.

"You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

—John 8:32

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

—Philippians 4:7

And here’s the heartbeat of it all:

We are made new.

From ashes to light.

From lost to found.

"To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."

—Isaiah 61:3

"I once was lost, but now am found."

—Luke 15:24

And we don’t rise for ourselves alone—

we rise to rescue.

To reflect what we’ve seen.

To speak what we’ve found.

To carry the flame

so others might find The Light.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

—Matthew 5:16

"Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter."

—Proverbs 24:11
