A Part of Me

Never thought I could have been here
But Someone greater has led me
To the place where I learned
How to be educated 
And not to compete
How to love
And not to hold grudge
How to listen
And not to be insensitive
How to thrive
And not just to survive

Thanks to you
For teaching me
Thanks to you
For accepting me
Thanks to you
For being my friend
Thanks to you
For being my support
Your names may not be written here
Because I chose to keep them
As a treasure deep within

God reminds me tonight

To express my utmost delight

As you become a part of my life

I could never get it through

Without you

So thank you

Saying it may not be enough

So I write a poem with love

You can forget other things I wrote,
