Released to Rise

(Offered in peace, discernment, and quiet worship.)

In July 2025, I released my role as an online English teacher at Novakid—a space that held me for four beautiful years. It was a season marked by joy, purpose, and grace. I wasn’t personally affected by the company’s internal shifts, but I felt them. I saw contracts quietly end. I sensed the change in atmosphere. And in that stillness, I heard God’s whisper: “It’s time.”

So I didn’t leave out of fear. I left out of faith.

God was inviting me to step out of my comfort zone and into a new season—one of ministry, deeper study, and legacy-building. And though the letting go was tender, it was also sacred.

💬 What I’m Grateful For:

♡ Students who showed up tired, curious, brilliant—and deeply loved.

♡ Families who welcomed me into their homes through screens and smiles.

♡ Co-teachers who became encouragers, prayer warriors, and quiet heroes.

♡ A journey marked by kindness, patience, and grace—never a single negative review, only God’s favor.

📖 What I’m Holding Onto:

■ “Start children off on the way they should go…” — Proverbs 22:6

■ “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…” — Proverbs 3:5

I’m sharing this not to recount a resignation, but to testify to a release. A holy shift. A divine invitation.

I pray that wherever God leads me next, it will be a place where I can grow and glow for His glory—a space where my gifts can flourish, my faith can deepen, and my legacy can multiply.

And if you’re sensing a shift too, I pray courage over your next step. May you walk forward held by His hands, led by His timing.

With love and gratitude,

Teacher Marie A. 💛✨

(Growing. Glowing. Going where He leads.)

Thirty-One: Crowned in Consecration

Thirty-one—

Not just a number, but a name.

Not just a milestone, but a mantle.

It is the echo of obedience,

The rhythm of righteousness,

The whisper of wisdom worn like a crown.

Thirty-one is the woman who rises before dawn,

Who weaves legacy into linen,

Who speaks with kindness and walks with strength.

It is the consecration of victory,

The surrender of spoils,

The offering of all that was gained.

I wear it—

Not as a badge, but as a blessing.

Not as a title, but as a testimony.

Thirty-one—

You are the number of vision fulfilled,

Of virtue refined,

Of legacy released.

---

🙏 Prayer: “Consecrated at Thirty-One”

Lord God,

You are the One who crowns me with dignity,

Who clothes me in strength,

Who calls me to rise with wisdom and walk in grace.

Thank You for the mantle of thirty-one—

For the virtue You are refining,

For the victories You are consecrating,

For the vision You are unfolding.

Teach me to laugh at the days to come,

To bless those entrusted to me,

To leave a legacy that honors You.

Let my life be a Proverbs 31 offering—

Not perfect, but surrendered.

Not loud, but lasting.

Not fleeting, but faithful.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

"You Know My Frame” Inspired by Psalm 31

You know my frame—

Not just the bones that bend beneath betrayal,

But the breath that trembles when trust is torn.

You saw me—

Not just the smile I stitched for Sunday,

But the soul that sobbed in secret.

I said in haste, “I am cut off,”

But You cut through the noise,

Drew near to my cry,

And held me—

Not as a judge, but as a Father.

Into Your hands I commit this ache,

This longing, this legacy, this love.

You are my refuge,

My rhythm,

My reason to rise again.

So I will be of good courage—

Not because the storm has ceased,

But because You are in the boat with me.

---

🙏 Prayer: “Held in Your Hands”

Lord, You are my safe place when the world feels unsafe.

You see the anguish I cannot name, the wounds I cannot explain.

You know the betrayal, the silence, the ache of waiting.

Yet You do not turn away. You draw near.

I commit my spirit, my story, my relationships into Your hands.

Redeem what feels broken. Restore what feels lost.

Strengthen my heart to hope again, to love again, to trust again.

Teach me to wait with courage,

To speak with grace,

To release with faith.

You are the God of truth.

You are the God who sees.

You are the God who holds.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

Blessing Him Still: A Psalm 34 Journey

There are psalms we sing in celebration.

And there are psalms we whisper through tears.

Psalm 34 is both.

David wrote it in desperation, yet it overflows with praise.

It taught me that worship isn’t circumstantial—it’s covenantal.

“I will bless the Lord at all times…”

Even when the promise feels far.

Even when memory aches.

Even when restoration is still unfolding.

Psalm 34 became my anchor.

It reminded me that God doesn’t just deliver us from danger—

He delivers us into identity.

He names us. Frames us. Redeems us.

If you’re walking through a season of surrender,

Let Psalm 34 be your breath prayer.

Bless Him still.

Because He is near.

Because He answers.

Because He redeems.

Threshold 23

Twenty-three—

Not just a number, but a doorframe.

Where consequence kissed mercy,

And silence became song.

Twenty-three thousand fell,

But grace stood taller still.

A judge reigned for twenty-three years,

Quiet, faithful, firm in will.

Twenty-three daughters—legacy born

From dust and divine breath.

So I count my offerings,

Not in numbers, but in depth.

This is my threshold—

Where pain becomes prayer,

And every scar sings

Of the Savior who’s there.

I do not fear the fall,

For I’ve seen the rise.

Twenty-three is not the end—

It’s the moment I open my eyes.

---

🙏 Prayer: “Lord of the Threshold”

Abba Father,

You are the God of numbers and names, of judgment and mercy.

Thank You for the lessons hidden in 23—for the weight of consequence and the wonder of legacy.

Where I have fallen, lift me.

Where I have led, sustain me.

Where I have birthed spiritual daughters through testimony and tears, bless them.

Let my life be a quiet reign of faithfulness,

A generational echo of Your love.

May every scar become a story,

And every offering become a seed.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

---

My Peace

It is not the calm of a quiet room

Nor the hush of a sunset sky

It is the roar of grace in the storm

The whisper of truth when I cry.

My peace is not borrowed from people

Not stitched from things that fade

It is blood-bought, Spirit-given

In the arms of Christ, I’m remade.

He is my peace—my Prince, my portion

Not a feeling, but a flame

He walks with me through fire and shadow

And calls me gently by name.

So I will not chase what cannot hold me

Nor fear what cannot stay

For Jesus is my lasting peace

And He will never walk away.

---

🙏 Prayer: Receiving the Peace of Christ

Lord Jesus,

You are my peace. Not the peace the world gives, but the peace that surpasses understanding. I come to You—tired of chasing comfort in things, in people, in fleeting moments. I lay down my anxious thoughts, my restless heart, and my need to control.

Fill me with Your presence. Let Your peace rule in my heart and guard my mind. Teach me to trust You in the storm, to rest in You when I cannot see the way. I receive You again—not just as Savior, but as my Peace.

Help me walk in this truth, share it with others, and live as a testimony of Your unshakable love. In Your name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Ninefold Fruit in the Garden of Us

Marriage, ministry, and legacy are not built in the spotlight—they’re cultivated in the soil of surrender. As I reflect on the nine fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22–23, I see not just virtues to aspire to, but seeds God is planting in me—and in us.

Each fruit has marked a moment in our journey:

♡ Love in the choosing, even when it’s hard.

♡ Joy in the mundane, the laughter between tears.

♡ Peace in the waiting, when prayers feel unanswered.

♡ Patience in the process, when growth is slow.

♡ Kindness in the words we speak when wounded.

♡ Goodness in the integrity we carry when no one sees.

♡ Faithfulness in the staying, the showing up.

♡ Gentleness in the yielding, the softening.

♡ Self-control in the honoring, the holding back.

These fruits are not just personal—they’re relational. They shape how we love, how we forgive, how we build legacy. And they remind me that fruitfulness is not perfection—it’s presence. It’s abiding in the Vine (John 15:8), trusting the Gardener, and rejoicing in the growth.

If you’re walking through a season of pruning or planting, take heart. The Spirit is producing fruit in you—fruit that will remain, fruit that will nourish others, fruit that will glorify the Father. And in that, you are becoming His disciple.

Let’s grow together. Let’s bear fruit that lasts. Let’s rejoice—always.

Forty-Five: When Grace Covers the Corners

"Suppose there are forty-five righteous people there. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?”

—Genesis 18:28

Introduction:

There are numbers that pass us by.

And then there are numbers that pause us—

That whisper something deeper, something divine.

For me, 45 became one of those numbers.

The Earth and Grace Collide

In biblical symbolism, 4 speaks of the earth—its corners, its seasons, its created order.

5 speaks of grace—unearned, unshaken, unrelenting.

Together, 45 becomes a picture of grace covering creation.

Of mercy stretching wide enough to meet us wherever we are.

Abraham’s Intercession

In Genesis 18, Abraham pleads with God:

“Would You spare the city for 45?”

It’s a bold ask. A humble one.

And it reveals something beautiful—

That God listens to intercession.

That mercy can delay judgment.

That grace can still be found in the middle of brokenness.

My Season of 45

I found myself in a season where I was pleading too.

Not for a city, but for a heart.

Not for fire to fall, but for grace to rise.

And in that place, I heard the whisper:

“Even here, I cover you.”

A Call to Stand

If you’re in a 45 season—

Where the earth feels heavy, and grace feels distant—

Don’t stop standing.

Don’t stop interceding.

Don’t stop believing that mercy still moves.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the grace that covers the corners of our lives.

Teach us to intercede with boldness and to surrender with trust.

May we be the 45 that stands in the gap,

Believing that You are still the God who listens,

Still the God who saves.

In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

When You Have No Strength Left

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” — Psalm 73:26

There are moments in life when we feel like we’ve reached the end of ourselves. The weight of anxiety, depression, or grief can feel unbearable. I’ve been there. I’ve cried out in the quiet, wondering if God still saw me, if He still cared.

But here’s what I’ve discovered: He does.

Jesus is not distant. He is not waiting for us to have it all together. In fact, He meets us in our mess. He is the strength that carries us when we can’t take another step. He is the joy that rises in the ashes. He is the hope that anchors us when everything else feels uncertain.

In my own journey, I’ve found comfort in knowing that my identity isn’t based on how I feel — it’s based on who He says I am. I am His. I am loved. I am held.

And so, I worship. Not because life is perfect, but because God is faithful. I worship in the waiting, in the weeping, and in the wondering. Because I know He is working, even when I can’t see it.

If you’re walking through a hard season, I want to remind you: God will fight your battles. He is for you, not against you. No fear, no lie, no sorrow can cancel His promises. He is your voice, your defense, your song.

Call on Him. He’s always available. He’s just waiting for you.

When Trust Feels Easier in the Big Things

The God of My Details: Learning to Trust in the Small

I used to think I trusted God deeply. After all, I believed in His calling over my life, His plan for my legacy, and His power to redeem even the most broken chapters. But one day, I realized something painful: I trusted Him for the big things… but doubted Him in the small ones.

The small things felt too close. Too slow. Too fragile. I wanted to help God—speed things up, smooth the path, make it easier. I felt guilty for doubting. Ashamed for rushing. And yet, God didn’t shame me. He whispered: “I am not slow. I am precise.” That whisper changed me.

I began to see how scripture honors the small:

• The mustard seed that moves mountains.

• The widow’s coin that pleased God.

• The boy’s lunch that fed thousands.

God doesn’t just show up in burning bushes and parted seas. He shows up in daily bread, quiet trust, and surrendered timelines.

Scripture Anchors:

◇ Luke 16:10 — “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much.”

◇ Zechariah 4:10 — “Do not despise these small beginnings…”

◇ Psalm 37:5 — “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.”

If you’re like me—trusting God for the grand but struggling in the grind—know this: He is with you in the small. He rejoices in your beginnings. He honors your surrender. And He is faithful in every detail.

Let’s stop trying to help God finish what He already started. Let’s trust Him—not just for the mountain, but for the pebble.

Call to Action:

If this resonates with you, share it with someone who needs encouragement today. Or comment below: What small thing are you learning to trust God with?

When the Years Felt Eaten

Introduction:

There are chapters in life that feel devoured—by grief, confusion, or delay. For me, those years were marked by quiet heartbreak, relational transitions, and the ache of longing to love sincerely again. I often asked, “Lord, what was the purpose of all this?”

Scriptural Anchor:

Joel 2:25 whispered hope into my weary heart: “I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten…”

This wasn’t just poetic—it was personal.

God began restoring not just time, but tenderness.

He revived my ability to see the good in others,

To bless through creativity,

To honor legacy through music, spoken word, and keepsakes.

Encouragement for You:

If you’re holding broken years in your hands,

Don’t hide them—offer them.

God doesn’t waste pain.

He transforms it into purpose.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, restore what feels lost.

Redeem the rhythms of our lives.

Let every tear become a testimony,

And every delay a divine preparation.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

This is Love (1 John 4:19)

True love sees—

Not ignores.

It looks with compassion, like the Samaritan

who “saw him and had pity” (Luke 10:33).

It goes the extra mile,

just as Jesus taught:

“If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two”

(Matthew 5:41).

True love speaks and performs—

Not just in words, but in action.

“Let us not love in word or talk

but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18).

It loves beyond convenience,

Gives without expectation,

Thinks of others more than self:

“Do nothing from selfish ambition… but in humility

count others more significant than yourselves” (Philippians 2:3).

True love mirrors Christ—

Who loved us first.

“We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).

It extends what we’ve received,

Freely, fully, faithfully.

It asks for nothing in return,

Because it’s a response to God’s love.

He gave up His life for us—

The greatest gift ever given.

“Greater love has no one than this:

to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13).

His precious blood paid for our sins:

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is

eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

This is love—

Not that we loved Him,

But that He loved us and sent His Son

As an atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:10).

And now, we love

Because He first loved us.

🎙️ Spoken Word Piece: Restless Until Rested in You

I am restless

until I find my rest in You—

not in sleep,

but in surrender.

Not in silence,

but in Your voice that stills the storm within.

You say,

“Come to Me, all who are weary…”

So I come—

with my questions,

my grief,

my longing.

Rest is not escape.

It is encounter.

It is the hush of heaven

meeting the ache of earth.

You lead me beside still waters,

but more than that—

You restore my soul.

You keep me in perfect peace

when my mind stays on You.

To rest is to know You—

not merely by name,

but by nearness.

By the scars that speak of love,

by the Word that became flesh

and dwelt among our weary hearts.

To rest is to lift our gaze,

to set our minds on things above—

where peace is not a concept,

but a Person.

Where joy is not fleeting,

but full.

To rest is to love You

with all our heart,

all our soul,

all our strength.

To say, “You are my everything,”

and mean it

even when everything else fades.

Without You,

we are breathless wanderers.

But with You,

we are home.

🌿 Devotional Message: The Rest That Restores

Theme Verse:

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28 NLT)

Opening Reflection:

Restlessness is not just a lack of sleep—it’s a soul unsettled, a heart searching, a spirit longing. In seasons of grief, transition, or spiritual dryness, we often find ourselves echoing the cry: “Lord, I am restless until I find my rest in You.”

But Scripture reveals that rest is not escape—it’s encounter. It’s not the absence of noise, but the presence of Christ.

1. Rest Begins with Relationship

To truly rest, we must know Jesus—not just by name, but by experience.

"Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him." (Psalms 62:1 NIV)

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalms 46:10 NIV)

This knowing is intimate. It’s the kind that comes from walking with Him through valleys and victories, through grief and grace.

2. Rest Requires a Renewed Focus

Rest comes when we lift our eyes from the chaos and fix them on Christ.

"Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. (Colossians 3:2 AMP)

"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (Isaiah 26:3 NLT)

When we see Jesus as our ultimate satisfaction, peace becomes possible—even in the storm.

3. Rest Is Rooted in Love

To rest is to love Jesus with all our heart, soul, and strength.

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." (Deuteronomy 6:5 NKJV)

"Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you." (Psalm 73:25 ESV)

This love anchors us. It reminds us that without Him, we are breathless wanderers—but with Him, we are home.

Closing Prayer:

Lord Jesus, teach me to rest—not just in body, but in spirit. Help me to know You deeply, to fix my eyes on You, and to love You with all that I am. In You alone, I find peace. In You alone, I am home. Amen.

🌍 When the Earth Shakes, Heaven Still Speaks

A devotional reflection on Mindanao’s 7.4 earthquakes and God’s unshakable presence

In the span of two years, Mindanao trembled twice—once in December 2023, and again in October 2025. Both earthquakes registered a magnitude of 7.4, shaking cities like Cagayan de Oro and Davao, stirring fear, and awakening prayer.

But beyond the fault lines and aftershocks, I believe God was whispering something deeper.

🔢 The Meaning Behind 7.4

In scripture, 7 is the number of completion and divine perfection. It marks the fullness of God’s work—creation finished, promises fulfilled.

4 often represents the earthly realm—the four corners of the earth, the winds, the living creatures that surround the throne.

Together, 7.4 becomes a sacred echo:

“God’s perfect order is touching the earth. He is awakening the corners of creation to return to Him.”

Two quakes. Same magnitude. Same island.

Not coincidence, but confirmation.

🕊️ A Call to Intercession

When the ground shakes, we are reminded of our frailty.

But we are also invited into faith.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way…”  —Psalm 46:1–2

These tremors are not just geological—they are spiritual invitations.

To rebuild not just bridges, but altars of worship.

To restore not just homes, but hearts that trust again.

🌺 Mindanao Will Rise

From Hinatuan’s coast to Manay’s shore,

From Cagayan’s sidewalks to Davao’s prayers—

Let every cracked foundation become a testimony.

Let every tremor become a trumpet call to intercede.

We declare:

Though the earth shakes, we will not be shaken.

Though the mountains fall, we will lift our eyes to the hills—

From where our help comes.

🙏 Closing Prayer

Lord, in the shaking, steady our hearts.

In the trembling, awaken our worship.

Let Mindanao rise—not just in strength,

But in surrender.

Let Your perfect order touch every corner of our land.

Amen.

🌾 My Portion Is Enough ✨

In this season of transition-

between grief and growth, memory and ministry—

I’ve found myself clinging to the tested Word of God like never before.

His promises have become my portion, and His presence, my shield.

I used to pray for open doors, favor, and provision.

Now, I pray for truth over comfort, and integrity over abundance.

Like Agur, I ask:

“Lord, give me neither poverty nor riches.

Feed me with the food that is my portion.”

Because I’ve seen how excess can dull our dependence,

and how lack can tempt us to compromise.

This verse reminds me that legacy isn’t built on what we accumulate

it’s built on what we surrender.

I don’t need to add to His words or embellish my story.

I just need to trust, obey, and walk humbly with Him.

So today, I choose simplicity. I choose truth.

I choose the portion He’s assigned to me.

And in that portion, I find peace. 🙌

#TestedWord #ShieldAndPortion #LegacyInChrist #Proverbs30Testimony

Shield and Portion (Scripture-Infused Spoken Word)

Every word of God—refined like silver,

Not one tarnished, not one wasted.

He is my shield, my refuge,

When the world spins loud and truth feels faded.

Do not add, do not twist—

His Word stands firm and unshaken,

Kissed by fire and time and holy breath.

To tamper is to lie, to drift toward death.

So I ask, not for riches, not for fame,

But for truth that bears no shame.

Keep deception far from me,

Let my heart walk in integrity.

Give me neither poverty nor gold,

Just the portion my hands can hold.

Not too much that I forget Your name,

Not too little that I steal in shame.

Feed me, Lord, with daily bread—

Enough to live, enough to be led.

So I won’t say, “Who is the Lord?” in pride,

Nor profane Your name when needs collide.

Let my legacy be this:

A life not measured by excess,

But by trust, by truth, by holy ground—

Where Your Word is tested, and grace is found.

Testimony Post: “Eighteen Years of Grace” 🙏🙌✨💞

This year, I celebrate 18 years since I said yes to Jesus at the age of 13 —

Not just with my lips, but with my life.

Eighteen years of walking with the One who walks on water,

Who calms storms, heals wounds, and never lets go.

There were seasons I felt weak, unseen, unworthy.

But His grace met me there — again and again.

Like Laura Story sings, “As I walk with You, I’m learning what Your grace really means…”

Not something I could earn, not something I could repay—

Just a gift. A daily invitation to surrender and obey.

And through it all, this truth has anchored me:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

Not because I’m strong, but because He is.

Not because I’ve arrived, but because He walks with me.

Eighteen years of grace.

Eighteen years of falling and rising.

Eighteen years of learning that Jesus is enough.

So here’s to the next chapter—

More surrender, more strength, more songs of grace.

Because this journey isn’t just mine.

It’s a legacy. A testimony. A love story written by God.

All glory to Jesus—my Savior, my Shepherd, my Song.

The Prayer That Protects Your Legacy

Introduction

In a world that glorifies hustle and abundance, Proverbs 30:5–9 offers a counter-cultural prayer—a plea for truth, balance, and spiritual integrity. It’s not just a proverb. It’s a posture.

1. The Word That Shields

Verse 5 reminds us that God’s Word is refined like silver. It’s not just inspirational—it’s invincible. When we take refuge in it, we’re not escaping reality; we’re anchoring ourselves in eternal truth.

2. The Warning Against Additions

Verse 6 cautions us not to add to His words. In ministry, in relationships, even in legacy-building, there’s a temptation to embellish or overextend. But God honors authenticity. He reproves distortion.

3. The Prayer for Enough

Verses 7–9 are a heart cry for balance:

- “Keep deception and lies far from me.”

- “Give me neither poverty nor riches.”

- “Feed me with the food that is my portion.”

This is the prayer that protects your legacy. It guards your heart from pride and desperation. It keeps your testimony pure and your witness strong.

Conclusion

As I prepare for new chapters—marriage, ministry, and generational impact—I’m learning that the most powerful legacy is one rooted in truth, humility, and daily dependence on God. May our lives echo Agur’s prayer: “So that I will not be full and deny You… or poor and steal.” May our portion be enough. 🕊️

From Shaking to Surrender

A Reflection on the 6.9 Earthquake in Bogo, Cebu

On the evening of September 30, 2025, the earth trembled beneath Bogo City, Cebu. A magnitude 6.9 earthquake—the strongest ever recorded in the province—shook homes, churches, and hearts. In seconds, walls fell, memories scattered, and lives were changed.

But amid the rubble, a number stood out: 6.9.

In biblical symbolism, numbers often carry deeper meaning. Six (6) represents human imperfection, toil, and limitation. It’s the number of man—created on the sixth day, yet marked by brokenness. Nine (9), on the other hand, speaks of divine completeness, spiritual fruitfulness, and finality. It’s the number of the Holy Spirit’s fruit and the hour Jesus completed His redemptive work.

Together, 69 becomes a prophetic echo—a call to move from striving to surrender, from brokenness to wholeness, from trembling to trust.

---

📖 Scripture in the Shaking

“Zeal for Your house has consumed me…” —Psalm 69:9

Psalm 69 is a cry of suffering and devotion. It foreshadows Christ’s passion—His rejection, His obedience, His love. Quoted in John 2:17, this verse reminds us that even in the shaking, God’s purpose prevails.

The earthquake may have cracked concrete, but it also cracked open hearts. It reminded us that our foundations must be more than physical—they must be spiritual.

---

🙏 A Prayer for Cebu

Lord of mercy and restoration,

We lift up Bogo, Cebu, and every soul shaken by this quake.

Let Your Spirit move through the cracks and chaos.

Where walls have fallen, raise up faith.

Where hearts tremble, anchor hope.

Turn our mourning into fruitfulness.

Let the number 69 remind us:

Though we are imperfect, You are complete.

Though the earth trembles, Your love remains unshaken.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

---

🛠️ What This Means for Us

This moment is more than a tremor—it’s a turning point.

- For families in Bogo, it’s a time to rebuild not just homes, but hope.

- For churches, it’s a call to deepen our zeal for God’s house.

- For each of us, it’s a reminder to examine our foundations. Are they built on sand—or on Christ?

Let’s respond not just with aid, but with prayer, presence, and purpose. Let’s turn this shaking into surrender. Let’s move from 6 to 9—from man’s limits to God’s fullness.

Wisdom in the Midst of Noise

■ Scripture Focus: Proverbs 26:4–5, 11–12

“Do not answer a fool according to his folly,

or you yourself will be just like him.

Answer a fool according to his folly,

or he will be wise in his own eyes.”

— Proverbs 26:4–5

“As a dog returns to its vomit,

so fools repeat their folly.” — Proverbs 26:11

“Do you see a person wise in their own eyes?

There is more hope for a fool than for them.”

— Proverbs 26:12

In the tension between verses 4 and 5, we find the heartbeat of wisdom—not contradiction, but calibration.

The Spirit teaches us when to speak and when to be still.

Wisdom is not reaction; it is revelation.

Verse 11 warns of cycles—habits that dishonor healing.

And verse 12 pierces deeper: pride masquerading as wisdom

is more dangerous than foolishness itself.

In today’s world of instant replies and self-made truths,

Proverbs 26 invites us to pause, discern, and walk humbly.

Let this be your prayer:

“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips” (Psalm 141:3).

 Let this be your posture:

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10).

And let this be your legacy:

“Let the wise listen and add to their learning” (Proverbs 1:5).
