🌿 Devotional Study: “Sanctified in the Journey”

Scripture Focus:  

“And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.” — Romans 8:30  

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” — Colossians 3:2

💡 Study:

Salvation is the beginning, not the end.  

We are justified by grace—declared righteous before God through the finished work of Christ.  

But sanctification is the daily process of becoming what we already are in Him.  

It’s the Spirit’s gentle work in our hearts—refining, pruning, transforming.  

It’s choosing surrender over striving, obedience over comfort, and eternity over the temporary.  

We are pilgrims here, not settlers. Our true home is in heaven, and every step on earth is preparation for glory.

- What part of my life still resists daily surrender?  

- How can I live today as a citizen of heaven?  

- Where is God inviting me to walk in truth and grace?

🎙️ Spoken Word Reflection: “The Journey Is Holy”

I am not just saved—I am being sanctified.  

Not just forgiven—but formed.  

Not just called—but consecrated.

Each day, I lay down my will,  

And pick up the cross.  

Each moment, I trade comfort for calling,  

And applause for obedience.

I walk not by sight—but by promise.  

I live not by flesh—but by grace.  

I fix my eyes—not on fading crowns,  

But on the One who wore thorns for me.

I am a pilgrim here—  

My home is heaven.  

My citizenship is eternal.  

And one day, I will stand—glorified,  

Face to face with the One who called me home.

🙏 Prayer: “Sanctify Me, Lord”

Father, thank You for the gift of salvation—  

For washing me clean and calling me Yours.  

But don’t let me settle in justification alone.  

Sanctify me daily.  

Refine my heart.  

Transform my mind.  

Make me holy as You are holy.

Help me fix my eyes on Jesus,  

Not on the distractions of this world.  

Let my life reflect heaven’s values,  

And my steps echo eternity’s rhythm.

I surrender again today—  

Not out of duty, but delight.  

Not out of fear, but faith.  

Because You are worthy.  

And I am Yours.
