🌱 Word Study: Galatians 6:9–10 (ESV)

πŸ“–  Scripture Focus: Galatians 6:9-10 ESV

Verse 9:

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

■ “Grow weary” (Greek: enkakōmen) – to lose heart, become discouraged, or faint in spirit.

■ “Doing good” (Greek: kalopoieō) – not just moral goodness, but active kindness, generosity, and righteousness.

■ “Due season” (Greek: kairos) – an appointed, divine time; not just chronological but purposeful.

■ “Reap” (Greek: therisomen) – to gather the harvest, receive the fruit of labor.

■ “Do not give up” (Greek: mΔ“ ekluō) – to not loosen, relax, or let go; a call to perseverance.

Verse 10:

"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."

■ “Opportunity” (Greek: kairos) – again, a divinely appointed moment to act.

■ “Do good” – repeated emphasis on active love and service.

■ “Household of faith” – fellow believers, spiritual family, those walking in the same grace.

🎀 Spoken Word Reflection: “In Due Season”

When weariness whispers,

And the harvest hides behind heavy skies,

Let this truth thunder louder than tired limbs:

You are sowing in sacred soil.

Every act of kindness,

Every unseen prayer,

Every seed of mercy

Is marked by heaven’s calendar.

Don’t let go.

Don’t give in.

Don’t give up.

Because in due season—

Not your season, not their season—

But God’s appointed kairos,

You will reap.

So keep doing good.

To the stranger, the struggler, the saint.

To the ones who forgot your name,

And the ones who share your faith.

You are not forgotten.

You are not forsaken.

You are a sower in the Spirit,

And your harvest is coming.

πŸ™ Prayer: “Strength for the Sower”

My Heavenly Father,

When my hands grow tired and my heart feels unseen,

Remind me that You see every seed.

Strengthen me to sow with joy,

To serve with grace,

To love without condition.

Help me not grow weary in doing good,

Even when the fruit is delayed,

Even when the field feels barren.

Let me trust Your timing,

Your kairos,

Your promise.

Make me a blessing to all—

Especially to my brothers and sisters in faith.

Let my life be a garden of grace,

Watered by perseverance,

Rooted in love,

And blooming in Your glory.

In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
