Seeds of Confidence: My Teaching Journey at Novakid

When I joined Novakid, an ESL company based in the US, I stepped into a global classroom without walls.

My students ranged from ages 4 to 13, coming from Asia, Europe, and Russia.

Each lesson was a window into diverse cultures, languages, and stories—

and each child carried a unique spark waiting to be nurtured.

I taught English and academic subjects, but more than that, I taught courage.

Many of my learners began as shy, hesitant voices, afraid to speak up.

Over time, through patience, creativity, and encouragement,

I watched them flourish into confident communicators.

Their progress was not just academic—it was transformational.

One of the rarest blessings in my teaching journey was the feedback from parents.

In a field where criticism is common, I never received negative reviews.

Instead, parents consistently expressed gratitude for the growth they saw in their children.

To me, this was not simply professional success—it was a testimony of God’s grace at work.

Novakid is not a Christian company, yet I carried my faith into every lesson.

I sought to embody Christ’s values—respect, encouragement, integrity—

so that even in a secular space, His light could shine.

Teaching became ministry in disguise:

every word of affirmation,

every patient correction,

every joyful celebration of progress

was a seed planted in young hearts.

Looking back, I see Novakid not just as a workplace but as a mission field.

It was a season where God allowed me to touch lives across nations,

to build bridges through language,

and to leave a legacy of confidence and hope.

My prayer is that the seeds sown in those classrooms

will continue to bear fruit in the lives of my students,

long after the lessons have ended.

"So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow."
